YEAR ONE TRAINING • YEAR TWO TRAINING • SUMMER RESIDENTIAL
The Gestalt Institute of Phoenix offers a two-year training program in Gestalt Therapy leading to a 300 hour certificate of completion. The first year consists of 123 hours, the summer residential is 42 hours of training, and year two consists of 135 hours and includes leading the drop in group. YEAR ONE – BEGINNING YOUR GESTALT THERAPY TRAINING The focus of the year-one training is to provide therapists with the basic skills and knowledge to apply the principles and techniques of Gestalt Therapy. The goals of the year one training are to:
YEAR ONE SCHEDULE Meets every Monday night and four weekend intensive workshops. Monday meetings begin October 2, 2006 and meet each Monday (October 2, 23, 30; November 6, 13, 20, 27; December 11, 18; January 8, 2007 22, 29; February 5, 12; March 5, 12, 19, 26; April 2, 9,16 ,20; May 7, 14, 21) through May 21, 2007 with the following exceptions. There are no meetings on the Monday after the weekend intensives, Monday December 25, January 1, 2007, January 17 and February 21 . Week-end intensives are October 14 - 15 2006; December 2 - 3 2006; February 24-25th 2007; and April 21 - 22 2007. FEE: $1695.00 for the year if paid in full by October 1, 2006. If not paid in full the tuition is $1845.00. A non-refundable deposit of $450 if paid by September 1, 2006 is required. After September 1, 2006 the required non-refundable deposit is $500.00. We prefer full payment at the beginning of the group. If this is not possible, the fee may be divided into two payments, one-half at the start of training and one-half on January 31, 2007. YEAR TWO – INTEGRATING YOUR GESTALT THERAPY TRAINING The second year training consists of a variety of opportunities designed to broaden and deepen your therapeutic skills and use the in the unique setting of the Drop In Group. The goals of the second year training program are :
The second year consists of Tuesday night meetings every other week, four intensive weekend workshops and fourteen weeks leading the Thursday night Drop-In group. Times for Drop-In group leaders are assigned to each student at the first meeting.
YEAR TWO SCHEDULE Meets every other Tuesday as follows: October 10, 24; November 7; December 5, 19; January 9, 23; February 6, 20; March 6, 20; April 3, 17 Weekend intensives are: October, 21, 22, 2006; December 9 ,10, 2006; February, 3,4 2007; April 7, 8 2007 Times for drop-in group leader will be assigned in your first meeting. FEE: $1875.00 if paid in full by October 1, 2006. If not paid in full the tuition is $2025.00. A non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit is $450.00 if paid by September 1, 2006 and $500.00 if paid after September 1, 2006. We prefer full payment at the beginning of the group. Refunds for tuition and fees apart from the deposit will be available upon written request up to 14 days prior to the activity. There will be a $20 charge to transfer registration from one workshop/training program to another. Tuition and fees will not be refunded if cancellation is made within 14 days of the activity. The Gestalt Institute of Phoenix will make a full refund if an activity is cancelled by the Institute because of insufficient registration or if the application is not accepted. |
